This number has called me several times but does not leave a message. When I attempted to call the number back I was connected to a bizarre automated answering service that gives no information about the company or individual owner. It offers to connect me to 'the client's personal, cellular, pager, or home phone number.' I have suspicions that this number is being used for fraudulent purposes. The answering service does not seem legitimate and something feels very weird and wrong. Id like to know if anyone else has received calls from this number and has also attempted to return their call. I am in CA and I do not know anyone in MI so my only guess is its a scam or a creditor/debt recovery vulture.

These calls are coming from call centers in Costa Rica and India. They do cold calling for or sell the leads to numerous companies in this country and they know that what they are doing is illegal. Tomorrow this same number may be selling Cruises, Timeshares or Security Systems but if you follow the money it usually ends up in the hands of an American LLC. Keep complaining to the FTC and FCC, and start bugging our politicians to pass laws to make it punishable in criminal court instead of handing out fines that they don't pay and then they are back at it the next day. Another course of action could be to contact phone companies to find out why they won't block spoofed numbers. With today's technology that should be an easy thing to do, unless they are somehow profiting from the use of their systems.

Guy called saying he was from Insta PC Care and that they were a Micrsoft Certified Specialists. He said that they receive reports from Microsoft whenever there are multiple error reports from a computer they pass this info to their company as are responsible for the service calls on behalf of Microsoft.
